From collective insight to clear priorities

Executive Group helps organisations involve the right people, identify what truly matters, see the priorities clearly and turn insight into decisions and action.

INVOLVE → PRIORITISE → SEE → ACT

Two Pathways to Begin

What do you need to understand or decide?

Every Executive Group process starts with a clear question. Depending on the challenge, there are two ways to begin:

Pathway A

Start with predefined statements

When the relevant topics are already structured or standard (such as ESRS sustainability disclosures, workplace wellbeing dimensions, or leadership competencies), participants prioritize a carefully selected set of curated statements.

Used across the Aura product family (WorkWell, Lead, DMA, Success).
Statements → Pairwise choices → Priorities
Pathway B

Start by asking people

When you don't yet know what the most important ideas or issues are, or you want to validate leadership assumptions, start with an open question. Participants contribute their ideas, the input is curated, and resulting alternatives are then prioritized.

Used in Aura Voice for open-ended problem solving and strategy ideation.
Question → Ideas → Curate → Pairwise choices → Priorities
01
Step One

INVOLVE

Bring the right people into the process

Employees, customers, management or other stakeholders participate through a simple, friction-free digital process.

Participation is designed to be easy and efficient, making it possible to capture authentic perspectives from across the organisation without lengthy workshops or exhausting 80-question survey forms.

💡 Involvement does more than provide better information: It builds shared understanding and ownership of the priorities that emerge, accelerating actual implementation.
02
Step Two

PRIORITISE

Identify what truly matters

Knowing that many things are important does not tell management what matters more. Rating scales (1 to 5) fail because participants rate almost everything as a "4" or "5", producing a flat, unworkable backlog.

Instead of asking participants to rate everything independently on a scale, Executive Group presents simple, head-to-head choices between two alternatives:

Which matters more to our success?
Option A: Faster Delivery
Option B: Customer Retention

By making a series of pairwise choices, participants collectively form their priorities. This mathematical method helps:

  • Create real prioritisation: Forces trade-offs that mirror executive reality.
  • Reduce rating inflation: Eliminates the tendency for everything to become "critical".
  • Surface hidden divergence: Uncovers polarizing topics that traditional averages hide.
  • Equal influence: Gives every participant an equal opportunity to influence the result.
  • Clear interpretation: Generates a definitive priority order rather than a cluster of 4.2/5 scores.

Step Three

SEE

Easy-to-read dynamic reports

The platform produces interactive visual reports that give management immediate focus across five dimensions:

1. Priorities

What matters most across all participants?

2. Current State

Where are we today in terms of maturity and capability?

3. Gaps

Where is the difference between current and ideal state greatest?

4. Perspectives

Where do teams agree, and where do functions see things differently?

5. Management Focus

Where should leadership attention and capital go first to produce the highest ROI?

04
Step Four

ACT

From priorities to action

The purpose is not to produce another survey report. It is to provide a clear fact base for management discussion and concrete action.

The results directly answer three critical governance questions:

1. What matters most?
2. Where should we focus first?
3. What should we do next?

From there, priorities are translated into decisions, allocated responsibilities, and time-bound roadmaps:

Insight → Priorities → Discussion → Decisions → Action

Methodology & Rigor

A proven approach behind a simple experience

For participants, the experience is deliberately simple: make a series of rapid choices about what matters more. Behind those choices is more than a decade of empirical experience using pairwise comparison to turn collective human insight into clear priorities.

10M+ pairwise choices • 100+ organisations • 10+ years of method experience
